Donating books and media:

  • Thank you for taking well worn or otherwise non-salable books and periodicals to the Rome-Floyd County Recycling Center.
  • Donations can be dropped off during regular library hours.

  • If you need a tax receipt, please count the number of hardbacks, paperbacks, videos, etc. You can usually get the receipt when you drop off your donation.


    • Friends of the Library:
    Help the Friends provide additional financial support through book sales and events. If you would like to join the Friends, print our membership form, complete, and mail with appropriate check made payable to: Friends of the Library, 205 Riverside Parkway NE, Rome, GA 30161.
